What is Speak Out? It is a section for young modders to write and express their feelings about a wide range of issues, topics and expressions of different things. What Subjects do you mean? Things ranging from a young modder speaking about what his/her piercings mean to them, what they think should be changed in this world of modification (may it be piercing laws or such), how they feel being a young modder and the world around them, issues they have faced good or bad, just about anything as long as it deals with you and you being modified! The above are examples of what you could write for a single subject or multiple subjects in one setting. How long should it be? At least 800 words; It must be in-depth. What will you do to review my article? First, it is put into a word processor to check for proper length (over 800 words). Then they are read through to make sure that it is relevant (We will not reject based on what you feel, or what you've done. However, we will reject your article if it is not relevant to body modification.) to the site. It will also be checked for grammar and spelling (It doesn't have to be perfect, but it must be easily readable.). If the article passes all these requirements, your article will be accepted. How do I know whether or not my article has been accepted? If your article has been accepted, you will receive an email telling you that your article was accepted, and when it should be up in the "Speak Out" section. If your article has been rejected, you will receive an email telling you that your article was rejected, and the reason(s) it was rejected. Of course, we can't email you if you don't provide your real email address (So please make sure you enter it properly!). If my article was rejected, can I re-submit it after I feel that it would now meet the requirements? Yes! We encourage you to re-submit your article if it is rejected. What does it mean if my article was accepted? Simply, it means that it will be posted in the "Speak Out" section. Legally, it becomes our property, and can be used in any way we see fit. However, we only have plans to use articles for the "Speak Out" section. What if I want my article to be removed or changed at some point after I submit it? We will not remove or alter any articles once they are posted, so be sure it is the way you want it before you submit. |
