Emilio Gonzalez, a practioner of all forms of Body Modification hails from Venezuela. When a person desires implants, tongue splitting or a simple piercing, they can turn to Emilio. Currently, only a handful of practitioners, such as Steve Haworth, Lukas Zpira and so forth, perform these advanced body modifications, people in Venezuela and from other countries turn to Emilio to perform their preferred modification.

When asked to tell a little bit about himself, Emilio Replies “My name is Emilio Gonzalez, I'm 24 years-old, studied 1 years medicine and later, I had to get over because in my country I couldn't continue by my tattoos. They didn't get me the opportunity to be a regular doctor but now I say 'thanks.'”

Emilio has been piercing for 9 years and doing implants, tongue splitting and body modifications for 1.5 years. When asked what subdermal implants were, he replied “they are the kind of implants that you can see under the flesh, like a 3D form.” Emilio then went on to tell that material that is suitable to implant into the body are 316 LVM stainless steel, teflon, silicone and titanium. When asked about the difference between transdermal implants and subdermal implants, he replies “Both are under the flesh, but the subdermal you can't see any part of the jewelry, and the transdermal you can see part of them over the flesh and you can change that part for others.”

When asked about the risks that come with subdermal implants, he replies “If the [practioner] don't [sic] separate [the flesh] correctly... and you can get scar tissue, but if you do it with a professional you don't have to worry for these risks.” When asked how transdermals are performed, he was very careful to not give out the secrets of the tools used. He replies, “Ok. Small incision, separate the flesh with secret tools and put the jewelry and that's it, sorry I can't explain more.” One of the reasons the exact process is secret is because practioners fear that unprofessional, inexperienced, and overly ambitious people will attempt these advanced procedures without sufficient knowledge or proper training, thereby putting themselves or others at risk. The most common risks of transdermal implants are losing the jewelry and migration, but when done correctly by a professional, migration can be avoided.

When asked which jewelry he prefers for surface piercings (Tygon or surface bar) he recommends “Surface bar”. He goes on to say that “The tygon bars sometimes are good but you can't keep it for a long time in your skin, but [with] the surface bar, you can keep it [in] for all the time that you want.” This is because Tygon eventually breaks down in the body.

All in all, Emilio is an accomplished Practioner and Body Modification artist. What are Emilio’s final words?
“Change your mind I'll change your body.”
